My eec fuse keeps blowing

It was running fine went in a restraunt came out started it it started than back fired than stalled wouldnt start i checked the fuses under the hood cause i didnt hear the fuel pump found the 30 amp fuse in the box marked eec relay blew i replaced it tried it the fuse blue after the third try i did this several times what could it be any suggestions appreichated thanks

Which engine do you have?

There is a shorting with the wiring system or components related to the EEC relay fuse. this relay operates quite a number of components and it is going to be problem locating the source.

Try unplugging the fuel pump relay to see if the fuse blows when you try to crank.
