What is the problem with my 92 truck?

92 Chevy K1500 PU 305 motor, stalls out when I apply the brake.I pulled the fuse for the rear anti-lock braking system/speedometer (apparently same cicuit) I lose my speedometer and the truck no longer stalls out when the brake is applied. When I put the fuse back in, the speedometer functions but the truck stalls when the brake is applied while driving. Can you help?

Alright but if you had a bad ground to the brake lights and you stepped on the brakes it could steal the ground from somewhere else causing the dieing.I have seen it happen before.
