I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina Euro. It has started running very ruff and stalling. First we thought bad gas. Changed fuel filter, put additives in gas. Did not help. Changed oil sending unit. Worked great for 1 day, started doing it again. Took coil box to be tested, twice, tested fine. Put car back together after removing coil box, put premium gas in tank.Car ran fine for 1 day started doing it again. Does it at high or low speeds. RPM needle goes crazy when it is going to do it. Everything else seems to check out fine. Is the fuel pump going? Any ideas before my mechanic shoots the car and hauls it to the junk yard? Please and thank you!

If the RPM gauge is acting crazy, it sounds related to the ignition system. Have him check wiring to the ECM to make sure everything is tight clean and not corroded. Also, check crank sensor.
