1992 Cadillac Deville cruise control

I recently talked to you about my cruise control on a 1992 Cadillac Deville. When I grab the cable it feels like their is some play in it at the throttle. I don't if their is suppose to be play in it. Thanks.

Yes, there is supposed to be some play. Otherwise it will surge at highway speed.
Does it function at all?

Yeah it moves but the cruise control light still doesnt come on. I checked and replaced the fuses and still nothing.

There is nothing you can do but what you did. It is not a simple system that an amateur can repair. Get a shop to at least check it for you and get a bid.
