1992 Cadillac Deville Repair Question

Brakes
How do I know if I have heavy duty brakes or not on my 1992 cadillac deville. I am trying to replace the caliper. Thanks.

take the old pads to the parts store and they will be able to tell the system you have.

ok I called my dealer and gave him the last 8 of my vin and he said that I have the jm4 brakes. Does that help.

no, as I said, take your old pads to the parts store and they will be able to identify the pads and give you the correct caliper.

yeah that what I am going to do I already have the caliper apart might as well take the pads down their to. Thanks for your help.
