My 92 Cadillac Deville would not shift out of park yesterday. I disconnected the battery and engaged the key, it shifted fine. In order to use it now, I am forced to shut it off in nuetral and use the parking brake. It runs and drives fine as long as I don't put it back in park. Then I have to repeat the disconnect of the battery again.
