Ok so I just did this a few seconds ago after you posted I put the positive on the pink wire and the negative on the black wire. It showed 12 volts exact on my volt meter with the car on the run position not started.

Ok so I am going to turn the car to the run position and do the off a warmer button and let it go to the 7.0 then turn the lever on and it should go to 7.1 then hit the brake and it should go to 7.2 then hit the set button and it should go to 7.3 and then hit resume and it should go to 7.4 is this correct or do I have to start the car when I do this and drive it or just start it or just the key to the run position. Thanks.
