Prior to this event, check engine light would turn on while parked or at a stop light, but the check engine light would turn off seconds after accelerating. Today I was at a stop sign and as soon as I accelerated it turned off, I attempted to restart but it would just crank, so I pushed it to a lot, I checked the power it was fine, I checked the gas valve on the engine while trying to turn it on, the gas was still reaching the engine, I removed the wire to the spark plug and put a screw driver in there and touched to another piece of metal but no sparx were seen, alternator rotates without problem starter was replaced about a year ago, im stumped, I checked the fuses and where ign is there is no fuse present but its been like that since I got the car

If you have no spark to the plugs, you need to check to see if there is power to the coils. I can't remember exactly, but if your car has 3 coil packs, they will be mounted on a digital ignition control (DIC). If the coils are good, have that checked.
