1992 Buick Century Repair Question

Service engine soon light flashes on and off est. 10 second intervils
My 1992 buick century stalled suddenly when stopping. I followed the direction to disconect the torque converter sensor and the stalling problem stopped. Great advice!!! But now the yellow (service engine soon ) light comes on for est. 10 seconds and off for est. 10 seconds continuisly while driving. How can I stop it from flashing??
