1992 BMW 525i Repair Question

92 525 i accelerating problems
Im having problems accelerating from a dead stop. The car will shake and studder when i hit the gas. i have to feather the gas to speed up. I dont know where to start drive train, guibo flex disc, eng mounts , trans mounts ?? The car is a 92 525 i bmw 159,000 miles. Please help

Inspect/replace the driveshaft. The joints get bound and the center support bearing falls apart.
