ALARM IS OFF BUT FUEL KILL SWITCH STUCK ON.

1992 Acura Legend • 200,000 miles

I don't have the remote for the alarm so we turn off the factory alarm using the door key. Every once in a while, after turning the alarm off the car won't start. It turns over and all the electrical works, but no fuel. We just lock the car with the alarm on and wait 5-10 minutes and then try again and it always starts until today. Now it just won't start. Yesterday the positive battery cable came off at the gas station and when I tightened the connection, it wouldn't start but like normal, it did after 5 minutes. But it hasn't started again since. I am wondering either how to get power full time to the pump or would installing a new alarm work better? Or can I fix the pump kill switch? Thanks for any help you can give.
