All you checked the radio wires but did you check wires and connector going to the pass lock sensor in the ignition housing?

The pcm is the engine computer and the transmission computer if its a automatic transmission. You also have a body control module which is the computer for the security system keylees entry door lock etc. Why do you think you need a new harness?

So when it runs for a little while and dies will it restart right away or do you have to wait for it to start? Also its really hard to belive that the security light is always on and there are no codes in the body control module. When ever that light is on iam always able to get a code out of it.

The security light is on for a reason and is most likely the reasons for the no starts.I know you checked the radio wires but did you also check the wires to the pass lock sensor in the ignition housing below where the ignition cylinder goes in?That the wire isnt damaged and the connector is properly plugged in?

If you want to start a new question I will be more then happy to help you figure out the problem. Just start the question out by saying this one is for saturntech9. Unless you get a answer from the user that asked the question that fixes your car.

So, as the woman explained in the thread above: It stalls out only when it's cold (well below freezing). Sometimes it will run and get up to temperature and then die. Afterwards it will not start again. Sometimes it won't start at all. When it dies the temperature gauge redlines and stays there until the outside temperature warms up considerably. Even if the engine is dead cold the temp gauge shows that it is redlined. It will turn over but not catch. The check engine light IS on, but the codes are completely unrelated to anything that could influence the temp gauge: p0122-TPS circuit low input; p0452-evap emissions pressure sensor switch low input; p1635-manufacture and controlled computer output circuit low. Most of these in my case have to do with an ethanol conversion (into a dual fuel vehicle) that shows a different compression than gasoline. Before you ask, YES, I have replaced the CTS and checked the connector, both are good. NO, the security light is not on. Being baffled myself, I have towed it twice to a great mechanic and both times it has started right up by the time I got it there. So, any ideas? I know this is a long shot, but the only temp sensor that has anything to do with outside temp is the intake air temp sensor-is there any possible way that it could malfunction enough to cause the engine to die (say, buy making the mixture far, far to lean)? Let me just reiterate, it runs great when it's warm outside.

Thanks for your help!
