I have a 91' plymouth sundance that has been making a progressivly louder and louder screeching sound from the front driver side tire somewhere but the noise only occurs when im in reverse backing up and when I apply the brakes. It drivers well and doesnt make and noises until I back up and break, any other time I break it doesnt make a noise at all

Have your brakes checked by a pro it may have something rubbing other than brakes.

Check for rust between caliper and rotor or dust shield and rotor. Also have wheel bearings checked.
