91 Nissian Pintara 2.0 litre Alternator

I have had some issues with my car, and I've come to realise that my alternator is dead/dying. I just replaced my battery, then the next night went driving, and within 15 minutes or so all my instruments and lights started to fade. I have heard that it might just be the alternator belt is missing, or the entire alternator. I wish to check if it is the belt before i take it to a auto electrician, but as i am hopeless with cars, I have no idea where it is located. I'm assuming its near the battery, but I have no idea. Please help!

well, we know it's on a belt unless the belt is gone/broke? if your battery warning light is not on it may be fine another issue could causing discharge.
