1991 Nissan 300ZX Repair Question

I have a 91 300zx non turbo, i tried to install a aftermarket stereo on it, while i was doing this i tried to turn on the car so that the battery wouldn't die on me but when i turn the ignition it made some weird electric noise, and the car did not starte

I jump started it and it worked but then i would turn it off and try to start it but it would make a weird sound by the battery. like tweaking sound

Check for loose connections at the battery, could also be a relay making the weird sound try pinpointng it and give me a pic is to the location
