1991 Mitsubishi Galant Repair Question

My car vibrates around 3000revs what is the cause of this???

I have been told that it might be the Cambelt.

i would look at mounts first. then make sure the motor is working on all cylinders.

The engine mounts?? And how would i check the cylinders???
also i was told that the drive shafts would need realignment

Yes, you most probably has a fault with the beltings but not the cam belt. It is the balancer shaft belt that has not been timed correctly.

What would be involved with fixing that????
and would that stop the vibrations???

You would need to remove the timing belt to be able to realign the balancer belt. At least the front pulley and timing belt cover has to be removed to check the alignment.

Yes it would stop the vibration if the balancer shaft is not correctly installed. No if the vibration is not caused by this.

It should be a 2 hour job.

Looking back since i have owned the car i thiink that is the problem
just a few more questions i would like to ask is this still free or is it just free for the first question??
