I have a 1991 Mazda RX7 I'm pretty sure my problem is my throw rod barrings but ill explain anyway. When my car is running and I'm NOT stepping on the clutch pedal its making a loud metal to metal sound in the slave slender area, when I step on the pedal it stops.
I'm sure its the barrings but if there could be something else wrong please tell me before I strip this thing down and find out it was not thee problem.
Now my question is how do you remove and install the barrings, I have automotive experience I've just never done this before lol.U

If the throw out bearing is bad, you should be getting noise when pedal is depressed instead of when not. I believe the noise is from the clutch pressure plate. The ring around which the bearing is seated on when clutch pedal is depressed is most likely to be unven causing the noise. The throw bearing is typical so nothing special abouut it. You would need to remove the transmission to get at it.
