1991 Isuzu Trooper oil leaking

My friends truck is leaking oil and when I say leaking its more of a constant drip hes going through 3 quarts of oil a day a guy at advanced auto parts said its a engine coolant system hose. Is that possible

He may be right. I'd check the oil filter and drain plug make sure they are tight first though. Then check the oil pressure sending unit. Clean the motor off with a heavy degreaser and let it dry and then run it to check. Oil pressure sending units like to leak through the center behind the plug
