How to repair the fuel gauge reading in my ford laser kf - gl, 1991 if it isn't working the way it should be?
The reading works when there is a full tank of fuel but as soon as the reading gets down to half a tank the needle stops at half a tank and doesn't continue on to show an empty tank.
any ideas on fixing the problem?

Suspect float is sticking on sender. will need to drop tank and inspect and/or replace
