The cruise control will come on and work fine but it will not turn off with the brake or the on-off switch on the steering wheel. I replaced the stop light switch. Does the linkage for the cruise need a spring on it, it does not have one. This truck has a cummins engine, does it need a throttle control senor everything works OK except the cruise. When the cruise is on I have to but the truck in neutral, pull over and pull back on the throttle under the hood to release the cruise control.Thank you:
