Subaru Loyale Engine Problem

I have a 90 sub loyale. the last couple of weeks a strange clicking was coming out the drverside engine.it just turned cold outside so i thought maybe the oil was to thin. well now the car died while driving. on inspection there is no spark. the rotor wont turn and the driverside timing belt wont turn when you try to start it. the other side spins fine. it seems something might have broke inside. the engine. so is it bad as it seems. not really my favorite car so i dont want to spend more money than the cars worth. so should i just junk it or what?
