Weird buzzing electrical sound...

When I turn the car off, it starts to make a weird buzzing electrical sound like "beeeeeeeee". After a while ( sometimes longer than normal ) it will go off, but sounds like a dying robot. I don't know anything about cars, so if you could please help me, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!

It's battery was replaced in April 2011, if that helps.

could it be the cooling fan? Maybe it sounds louder because it is getting a bad bearing? Let me know if you can be more descriptive, or attach a file or site where I can hear this please. Thanks!
