1990 Mazda 626 Repair Question

Mazda 626 Burning rubber Problem
Pressed my immobiliser button before turning the key and there was a loud bang and then smoke coming from under the bonnet. Opened up bonnet and could smell burning rubber and was still smoldering. Tried to turn car on which it did each time but would not hold revs.

you need an electrical shop to determine the short and damage from the issue. we cannot see it or asess it from here.
