1990 Honda Civic Clutch

So I just replaced the clutch in my car and it's still stuck in gear I can't put together why unless the transmission is out please give me so help

Are you able to shift into each gear when engine is not running?

Yes it shifts in and out when its of but when it's on it will not move

That means something is wrong with the clutch. Are you getting any pressure on the clutch pedal? Is the cable adjusted correctly?
