My 1990 honda accord ignition swith is locked in the on position, can take the key out while running, starter grinds when I press the clutch, e brake light stays on with the brake off. The only way I can get the car to shut off is by killing it and disconnecting the battery to keep from running dead since the ignition is stuck it the on position, all I have to do to start it is press the clutch. What would be causing this?

A bad ground. Check battery to eng, bat/body and eng/body. Clean terminal ends on battery.

Remove the screws holding the ing. Switch on top of lower steering column. Then turn the key back to off. If it turns off replace the ingnition switch if not you need to replace the key cyl. With the switch you can start and stop
