1990 GMC C1500 Repair Question

Noises at shut off and jerking at start going up hill
My truck just started jerking When i had to start from a complete stop the other day almost as if it was stalling out but i was giving it plenty of gas. Also it makes a rattle when i turn the engine off and when the clutch isnt pushed in in nuetral. And idea what could be causing these? Its a 1990 gmc sierra c1500 manual

i would start with basics. how old are the plugs, wires, cap and rotor?? the fuel pressure needs to be verified and the spark needs to be checked.
are you referring to when you let out the clutch for the jerking??
as far as the noise, without hearing it, it is almost impossible to pinpoint but one thing comes to mind, the shield on the cat converter was common for noise.
