Definitely will look for the part no. on the part itself...(I know the manufacturer is Aisin...and there is a number on it, but whether or not it is THE number..I don't know) and I'll call the dealer for this next step, as well.

(I've got little to no confidence that they'll be as helpful...especially since they claimed not to have a clue about the location of this part in the first place or showed any inclination to really try; BUT at least now I/we got pictures....sooo hopefully that will help jog their memories...)

this car is so old-in a way-and since it is of an earlier strange config between manufacturers, many of the newer techs have no experience with it and the existence of the older manuals are not readily available (if at all)...but I always remain optimistic and open to being pleasantly surprised...

because of circumstances...I'll have to be away from my computer for the rest of the week; but as soon as I can (and when I get some sort of clearer part info) I'll pop back on here to give ya an update....(hopefully by no later than Monday)
