1990 Ford Ranger Repair Question

No overdrive a4ld
Just rebuilt my a4ld transmission I don't have overdrive, my 3-4 solenoid is good but my lockup solenoid is bad could this be why I don't have overdrive?

yes it could. what is the ohm reading on the solenoid??

both solenoids have 26.3 ohms but when I power them the 3-4 solenoid makes a clicking noise and the lockup has nothing

check the wiring. ohm out all wires

The wiring goes in the solenoids and I have them out of the valve body I checked the ohms by touching the wires with my ohm meter and I got 26.3 ohms on each one

when you apply 12 volts, does the overdrive solenoid click???
