Docfixit had advised me on my Dodge Spirit. I was unable to find the odometer part or get anyone to pull the dash. Instead got the fuel sending unit replaced so I could at least have a gas gage. Worked at first, but now when I make a turn, the gage drops to E, the car sputters and then sometimes dies. What is going on? You were so helpful before.

Sounds like it's defective or a connection problem.

This initially began when I would only turn left but has since started regardless of which way I turn. Why would only turning cause the problem. Also, it seems to happen when I get about 1/2 tank of gas, doesn't seem to do it when it is full.
