Have a 1990 S-10 4.3l 2wd. When I try to pull forward it makes a thump noise jsut once. Then the front driver wheel feels like it is binding up. The rear tires will sometimes spin if the pavement is wet. I changed the rotor and pads, checks the wheel bearings. Had to change the idler arm and center link. Found those were bad when I tried moving the wheel to check the bearings. Im stumped and can't figure it out.

Replace your front brake hoses, they are 20 years oldand are probably not letting brake fluid go back to master. It' easy to check, when it does this stop the car jack it up and try to spin the wheel, if it 'doesn't go then open the brake bleeder and see if it spins again. After a period of time they collapseon the inside and dont' allow fluid back

Gonna change those out tomorrow and flush the fluids out. Loaned the truck to a friend he said he may of but the wrong fluid in. Heard that may cause failures in the rubber. Least all the brakes will be new again.
