I have an 89 Toyota pickup 4x4 3.0 liter v6. I drove it yesterday and the clutch would go all the way down and when I took my foot off of it after changing gears it would come up and then pop all the way up a second later. After stopping and going back into gear it started working again?

It is a manual 5 Speed 4x4. It is a 3.0 liter v6 driven just a week before the problem appeared

Thanks in advance!

Check the clutch fluid level. There is a prob;em with the clutch hydraulic system and if fluid level is low, there should be a leak somewhere.

If fluid level is correct, you have a fault with the clutch master cylinder.
