My renault has recently started randomly cutting out @ junctions. also this eve driving home, had to keep breaking to hold car back, pulled up on drive, foot off throttle to find it reving itself at top end, then on turning the car off and taking key out from ignition , the car continued to run for a further 3 seconds. the problem came on very quickly tonight, within a mile. first felt as if it was trying to pop out of gear or the noise did. one minute breaking to hold it back the next it was normal!!
