When posting a question about an automotive problem, it would be nice to know.

Year
Make
Model
Mileage
How it was running before the problem
What you have already done to try and repair it

Without this information all we can do is guess what will fix it. By knowing that information we can make a better educational guess as to what is wrong

I hope that you would be using deduction and logic in any diagnosis and not an educated guess. But as you say the more information given on the problem and the car is better.
