Oldsmobile delta 88 1989 car which is fuel injected Hard times I ran out of gas a few times, after that car ran sluggish. I have recently changed fuel filter, spark plugs and then realized Radiator fan was not working, noticed car was running hot although no services lights came on. Ran test on fuses that run radiator fan power is leaving there to relay under hood. Unplugged relay switch got power coming to the switch but not leaving the switch to fan. The car will just turn off going down the road. By fan not working could thermostat be bad causing relays not to work, and cause car to have low power?

Hello,

Ok, since you have power going to the relay but not coming out it could be the relay is bad. Take a look at the nnumbers on the relay then look at relays around it if one has same numbers swap them and see what happens. If fan works then replace relay.

You can test relay check out this link -
