OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS ENGINE PROBLEM
1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass • 100,000 miles
My 1989 cutlass ciera has 100000 miles on it. I have been trying to figure out why the engine wont turn over. For awhile I have had to repeated press on the gas but then noticed the gas pressure being slowly decreased over time. Just yesterday I have zero pressure in the clutch and the engine wont turn over at all. I thought it might have just been brake fluid which would mean no hydraulic pressure, but after checking it, the reservoir is full. My next thing to look at is either the flywheel or see if there is a clutch cable. I haven't really been able to look too much so it is something I am unsure of. The main thing I notices with the service engine light is when I lifted my foot off the gas it would come on so I know it is a pressure issue. I am stumped as to what to look for now.
