89 WRANGLER STALLS WHEN STOPPING OR DOWNSHIFTING

1989 Jeep YJ • 6 cylinder 4WD Manual • 160,000 miles

1989 Jeep Wrangler (YJ), 4 cyl, 2.5L TBI. Occasionally stalls when stopping or downshifting into tight turn. Happens when engine is hot or cold. Dealership couldn't figure it out as well as two other local mechanics. One said that's just the way the car is but I can't buy that. Has good power, responsive acceration. & Runs great otherwise. New engine, alt, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pump. Replaced most vac lines in engine compartment. Replaced camshaft sensor, AIC actuator. Had timing checked, throttle body cleaned out. What's left?
