Car was running fine, parked it, went to start it. Won't start. Does turn over; I sprayed starter fluid in the intake manifold and the car runs briefly, then stops running? What can I check for this problem?

Check fuel pump relay and fuse if you have one they should be both underhood if pump gets power, then smack bottom of fuel tank with palm of h and it may start to work if you are stuck someplace otherwise check pressure with agauge might be a bad pump
