Accord motorized headlight

I have a 1989 Honda Civic. It has motorized headlights that open and close The left headlight is stuck so that the hood won't open or close. The motor appears to have burned out trying to close the headlight. How can I get the hood open? Do I have to get a new motor if it is burned out or is there a way to keep the headlights open and turn them on and often as I would with conventional headlights?

Use a screw driver to pry the headlight lid away from the hood to release.

Headlight can be opened manually by turning the adjuster (black cap) at rear of motor.

You may have to adjust the hood with the two 10mm bolts.
