I have been driving this truck daily with no problems, but this morning it was reluctant to start, and when it did the engine died when I put it in gear (5-speed) and applied gas.

Changed fuel filter but that did not solve the problem. No fuel is getting to the carburetor but old filter was full and not very dirty.

I am a senior citizen and this is my only transportation to get around.
