What cause engine to vibrate?
When the engine is cranking it shake real bad.

Most likely to be bad engine mounts if it vibrates while cranking.

if the tranmission crossmember not bolted down will that cause engine to vibrate while cranking.

Yes it would if the transmission mount is on the cross-member.
