Sometimes when you crank it every now and the it will crank ans stall out or either just barely stay running and will idle pretty rough. Ive put a idle air control and cleaned the intake and everything and just cant figure it out. It dont really miss or anything one you get going down the road but sometimes I put it in in gear or park and will stall or barely stay running. I would really appreciate some help because no one can figure out whats wrong with this truck.

Check for vacuum leaks. Spray carb cleaner around vacuum lines, the intake gaskets, and vacuum fittings. Pop the hood, start it, and listen carefully for a hissing sound. Also check the timing. Get it running and put a timing light on the timing mark. Watch to see if it bounces around or stays steady. See if advancing or retarding the timing (turning the distributor in small increments) has any effect.
