1989 Dodge Raider Repair Question

89 Dodge Raider
I recently purchased an 89 dodge raider. it ran great for a week an i recently ran out of gas. (gas gauge does not work) Now the car will idle but will not accelerate. Any help.

Gas gauge -check and test the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank-Gauge could be out of calibration-Won't accelerate: Check and test the airflow and throttle position sensor
