Dodge Dakota Transfer case Problem
I have a 1989 dakota 4x4 and the transfer case went , will a transfer case out of a 1996 work? does it matter if it is 5 speed or automatic? Thanks if you can help

yes it does. you need to get the number off your case, little round steel tag on the case, and the donor must be the same number
