1989 Dodge Aries Repair Question

K car

1989 k car that will usuall run fine, but intermitantly just stakk out and not restart ( right away) if i let it sit for a period of time it starts right up. again it happens intermitantly. have replaced fuel filter and a fuel line...worked good for a day and a half, then back to origional problem

You'll never fix a running problem on a Chrysler product by replacing the fuel filter, other than on diesel trucks. When it won't start, check for spark. If it's missing, replace the Hall Effect pickup assembly in the distributor under the cap and rotor. They often fail when they get warm.

If you do have spark, you might try a new MAP sensor.
