Wife was driving and started smelling gas. At the same time truck started missingg and surging badly. No fuel leaks, no vacume leaks. Truck will start but surges while idleing and and wont rev. Replaced fuel filter, distributer cap, rotor cap.

Use a gage and check fuel pressure, TBI is around 10 psi. I have seen injector spray patterns that looked good to me, but the pressure was half of what it should have been. Any applicable mil codes? Check the coolant temp sensor.
