Got a 1988 Toyota Pickup

I keep bowing alternators the battery light comes on and I loose my heat and fuel gauge along with my turnsignals I cant find a blown fuse when it happens its the 2.4 carb. Engine manual trans.

The alternator itself will not be the problem, I feel that there is a short to earth in the charging system, check charging system as described in pic for any short to ground, start here.
