Oil lights on
What would cause oil light to come on and motor to be loud and car has little power, in a 1988 oldsmobile?
Vehicle has correct amount of oil in it. Had just filled up car with gas that has ethanol in it, but thought might not be the cause if oil light is on??

oil pressure could be low due to faulty oil pump, need to test oil pressure
