1988: Mitsubishi-van-wagon mileage: 138,000.Need to know how to find the index marks or setting to install the counter balance shaft belt...was replacing water pump, when I found broken belt...the belt apparently is for the driven shaft that supposedly minimizes engine vibrations, cannot find any work manuals locally. Have just started do not have the timing cover all the way off.Upper 1/4 off doing it by feel can see timing belt is good.But, the other belt broke. Need to know step by steep procedure to replace water pump and balance shaft belt.
