There are 2 cooling tubes that run along the passenger side of the intake manifold. The one that has the coolant sensor, is it pressed into the manifold witn and o-ring, or threaded into the manifold? If threades, what size are the threads?

Thank you

Normally, if a fitting is threaded, you'll be able to see the threads. Typically, those fittings are 1 inch. But, your best bet is to measure the fitting yourself to be sure.

5.0L, with 235K miles. I cannot see if there are threads because of the way it is designed, it comes straight up out of the manifold into a 90 degree angle.

Can you take a picture and upload it? These are usually threaded, 3/4 or 1 inch NPT (National Pipe Thread).
