I had to have my antifreeze tank replaced because it leaked. Now my heater only blows hot for a short time then cold. Could the cooling system need bled and if so how do you do that?

Could be. Run the car at 2500 rpm for a minute or so to bleed the system. Make sure the coolant level is full.

I have tried that, drove car 70 miles or so it still blows cold most of the time. It seems like it blows warm when I m on the hwy. But goes cold as soon as I slow down. This is about the only time it blows warm air. Don't know what to try?

Sounds like the heater core may be clogged with debris.
